![]() Watchstrap sizes, fitting and spring bars To determine the size (width of strap at lug end) of the watchstrap you require, measure between the lugs of the watch in millimetres (mm) as indicated below. This measurement is also known as the Interhorn Width. The sizes available for each type of watchstrap are shown in the specifications. ![]() If the exact size of strap is not available select a strap 1mm larger, if available. PLEASE NOTE: SIMPLY STRAPS ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INJURY, HARM, DAMAGE OR LOSS CAUSED BY THE INCORRECT FITTING OF A WATCHSTRAP, INCORRECT USE, THE USE OF INCORRECT SPRING BARS OR THE FAILURE OF SPRING BARS. Spring bars(also known as spring pins or watch pins) secure the strap to the watch. Spring bars are not included with watchstraps. Different lengths, diameters and designs of spring bars are used by watch manufacturers and therefore for security and comfort reasons it is recommended that you use the original spring bars for your watch or exact replacements. High Street jewellers and Watch Makers usually carry a wide selection of spring bars and should also be able to assist you with fitting your watchstrap. In general all straps are suitable only for watches with "standard" lugs (similar to picture above) with removable spring bars. They are not suitable for watches with integrated or custom straps. |
